Squarebit is happy to be a part of the amazing journey of Nimona getting to the screen. Please be sure to check out the Variety article. We're happy to finally share that we have been working with DNEG Animation and AnnaPurna Pictures to help bring some of the creatures in Nimona to audience members everywhere on Netflix. DNEG Animation has been an amazing partner and the film looks amazing. Please be sure to keep an eye out for updates as they get closer to release.

The team over at The Third Floor has done an amazing job on their first animated short Skytribe. While The Third Floor executed the whole project, Squarebit in partnership with OrigamiDollar, rigged both main characters in the short.

The team over at Psyop has done an amazing job on the launch trailer for the Electronic Arts hit game Apex Legends: Emergence, created by developer Respawn Entertainment. While Psyop executed the whole project, Squarebit in partnership with OrigamiDollar, rigged Seer for this trailer. We also updated some characters from the Legacy launch trailer. Squarebit helped Psyop and OrigamiDollar bring characters to life in the launch trailer for the Electronic Arts hit game Apex Legends: Legacy, created by developer Respawn Entertainment. While Psyop executed the whole project, Squarebit helped rig six of the main characters you see in the trailer (Valkyrie, Loba, Lifeline, Horizon, Wraith, and Fuse). Squarebit was fortunate enough to collaborate with the creators and developers of NXT and Sunrise Productions to create layers for NXT. While working with the software, Squarebit has been able to develop flexible workflows that can scale for large productions and be nimble for short projects. We highly recommend trying it out. Why not? It's free!!!!
The podcast with the devs on Miquel Campos' "The Rigging Buddies" youtube channel is below and worth a watch. They explain the long journey to open sourcing NXT. We look forward to continued collaboration with the NXT developers and the open source community.

Squarebit will be collaborating with Kyosil to deliver feature film quality rigs to their students. Currently, the team is hard at work iterating on what the final look of the model and rig will be. Squarebit is excited to be working with such a talented group of industry professionals to bring students the quality that they can expect while working at a professional studio.
